2021 Rolls-Royce Ghost Interior, enhanced rear seat space | Disney Car All New

Starting price: $337.850 USD

Rolls-Royce Motor Cars has announced the new Ghost Extended, which offers enhanced rear-seat space without compromising the Ghost's driving dynamics. Rolls-Royce Ghost Extended is the product of a thorough consultation with a new generation of Rolls-Royce customers. This very dynamic, global group of entrepreneurs expressed the desire that a driver-driven business tool during the week could turn into a dynamic and comfortable self-driving pub on the weekend. Ghost Extended is the response. Deliveries to the first customer will be made in the fourth quarter of 2020.

The Rolls-Royce Ghost Extended offers 170mm more space than the Ghost, providing more rear legroom than any four-seater sedan, with the exception of the Rolls-Royce Phantom Extended. Customer-centric informed every step of the development process. It's important that Ghost Extended customers don't want to compromise on Ghost's clean, minimalist design. The brand's designers worked to mask the extra length by only extending the rear doors and bodywork around the rear door aperture, keeping the car's contours intact.

A host of improvements at the rear of the cabin reflect the Ghost Extended's versatility. For the first time, the Serenity seats can be reclined, bringing a new dimension of rear-seat comfort to the business-cabin environment.

The rear cabin also provides the perfect environment for transitioning from business to leisure. To enhance this, a Champagne refrigerator is offered between the rear seats and has been developed with precise attention to the needs of Rolls-Royce customers. To achieve this, the brand's engineers consulted the Master Sommelier. They learned that the optimal serving temperature of vintage Champagne is about 6 degrees Celsius and vintage Champagne is around 11 degrees Celsius. So the refrigerator operates in two cooling modes, cooling to 6 degrees. and 11 degrees.

Technology has no objection

Ghost is the most technologically advanced Rolls-Royce ever created. For business customers of the Rolls-Royce Ghost Extended, WiFi access and an advanced infotainment system are essential to use during the workday. However, the technological functions have been carefully implemented to reflect the customer's need for a peaceful environment, free from unnecessary distractions.

Committed to bringing fresh space, decontaminating the air inside the cabin. To do this, Ghost is equipped with the new Microenvironment Purification System (MEPS). This technology enhances existing air purification systems through software and hardware. A highly sensitive impurity detection sensor detects ambient air quality, automatically activating the fresh air intake into Recirculation Mode. If unacceptable levels of air pollution are detected, the air is passed through a nano fleece filter that is capable of removing nearly all ultrafine particles in the cabin in less than two minutes.

A suite of technologies that enhance the driving experience in urban and rural environments. This includes laser headlights with a range of more than 600m and key safety enhancements including vision assist with wildlife and pedestrian warnings during the day and night; sober assistant; a four-camera system with panoramic, all-view and helicopter view; active cruise control; collision warning; cross traffic warning; Lane departure and lane change warnings. The industry-leading 7x3 high-definition head-up display and self-parking capabilities ensure absolute ease in any driving condition.

Rolls-Royce Ghost Extended is built on the Architecture of Luxury, Rolls-Royce's proprietary all-aluminium spaceframe that underpins every new Rolls-Royce model. The marque's hallmark Magic Carpet Ride is delivered by a new Planar Suspension System, the result of more than 10 years' exhaustive testing and refinement by specialist engineers. Featuring continuously variable, electronically controlled shock absorbers, self-levelling high-volume air strut assemblies and a world-first upper wishbone damper; this technology has never been previously applied to a production motor car. Ghost Extended also benefits from all-wheel drive and all-wheel steering for the first time.

Power is provided by a 6.75-liter twin-turbo engine developed specifically for the Ghost. It produces 571PS and 850Nm of torque. The requirement for on-the-go silence is met through 100kg of silencer material integrated into the chassis, bodywork and tyres, delivering exhilarating performance without compromising on interior quietness.

The pursuit of design simplicity requires craftsmanship and highly complex engineering. For example, sophisticated body shapes can only be achieved through advanced forming design and 3D printing. This is the first time that this technology has been incorporated in a component manufacturing facility and combined with Rolls-Royce's engineering and craftsmanship capabilities.

For the Rolls-Royce Ghost Extended, beam fused metal parts are welded to the body in white, while parts are made by multi-beam fusion and selective laser sintering. equipped exclusively at Home of Rolls-Royce.

The more traditional craftsmanship is presented in a contemporary way through the introduction of two new wooden finishes, specially developed for Ghost. Obsidian Ayous is inspired by the rich palette of colors found in flint, while Dark Amber features veins of fine aluminum particles running through the wood. Both are available in poreless finishes, allowing the feel of the material to fully manifest.

The Rolls-Royce Ghost 2021 starts at $337,850 with arrival fees and $2,600 in gas tax. The tester that I bought in 48 hours cost $440,225. That's $102,375 worth of options. Instead of options like a handcrafted analog clock ($6,200) and an electric picnic table ($5,325), buyers can opt for a sports car or luxury car. But the other car was not a Rolls-Royce.

My kids couldn't understand why this rolling fantasy movie was worth more than our house and all of its contents, and my dad couldn't understand why I didn't protect it at home either and stealthy whisper kisses along its almost perfect lines- less body.
