Pagani's new model will be codenamed C10 in the second half of 2022 | Cars Blog

Starting price is about $43,990

Recently, Pagani, to pay tribute to the Italian aerobatic team Tricolor Arrows, has specially launched the extremely exclusive Huayra Tricolore model. The powerful performance of this car will surpass all previous models of the Pagani brand. Its price is 5.5 million euros, or about 6.7 million US dollars.

Pagani is developing a new super sports car codenamed C10. It will be released next year. Pagani intends to exhibit C10 at the Leonardo da Vinci National Science Museum in Milan, Italy. The company has yet to specify an exact date for the initial launch, but it is expected to be in June or September 2022.

Pagani drew the C10 for the first time in 2017 and the prototype of the new car was built. The new car will use Mercedes-AMG's 6.0-liter twin-turbo V12 engine. Compared to Huayra, the output power of the C10 has increased from 30 to 40 hp. As for the powertrain, buyers can choose between a manual or a dual-clutch transmission.

The company emphasizes that the new cars will focus not so much on power but on overall performance. Pagani said in an interview that the company invested more time in any other aspect of the design, including reducing weight.

In terms of appearance, the car uses the latest front bumper design, adding more powerful air intakes, so that the Affalterbach engine can cool better. At the rear of the car, a new diffuser has been added to make the most of the air from below the vehicle. The rear spoiler is also designed in three colors and made from carbon fiber.

Pagani plans to produce 280 to 300 C10s. This number includes all versions, such as the regular versions and the various special editions. If you want to book now, it's too late. Pagani said all the products have already been purchased. Pagani believes it will still produce fuel-powered models before at least 2026. However, officials also claim that they have been developing electric vehicles since 2018.
