Capability and durability built with a focus on Baja

The Bronco DR rides on 37-inch (37 × 12.5R17) BFGoodrich® Mud-Terrain T/A® KM3 three-season tires and grainy wheels. The Baja victory tires feature an advanced Krawl-TEK compound for improved grip on rocky and slippery surfaces, while the Linear Flexible Zone provides better grip in high-altitude driving situations.

A full Multimatic FEA-optimized safety cage with integrated OE ACCRA® tubes surrounds the two-passenger cockpit, features a pair of racing seats and a Motec C187 monitor and CAN data acquisition system, with the ability to Optional cloud-based data access.

The Bronco DR fits the 10R80 transmission and transfers power on the tested and proven transmission from the built Ford Tough F-150 vehicle. Torque is transmitted through independent electronically locked front and rear differentials with a final gear ratio of 4.70:1. The front axle halves are a unique RCV design to ensure ruggedness to increase the torque output and travel of the suspension.

Large air intakes on the upper sides and another on the roof provide additional cooling for the rear-mounted radiator. A 65-gallon fuel tank is located below the cargo area. The Bronco DR switched to four-wheel disc brakes from Bronco-manufactured and added upgraded pads, while the electric power steering with upgraded inner strut joints improves articulation.
