Starting price is about: $29,791 USD

Honda HR-V 2022 has just been launched in Thailand with 3 versions including E, EL and RS, all using hybrid engines.

In the new generation, Honda HR-V is completely redesigned, looks smoother, modern and feels more advanced than the old one. The car has the look of a crossover with the softness of a coupe. The new grille connects the 2 headlights, the A-pillar position has also been reworked to create the feeling of a long and sloping roofline in a fastback style.

Full-LED lighting system is standard equipment, and the rear has a sports spoiler. New design 17-inch alloy wheels. All three versions of HR-V have an e: HEV symbol, indicating that all use hybrid engines.

Thailand is also the first market in the world to have the high-end HR-V RS. This version has a sporty appearance with a chrome grille, black painted front / rear bumpers and side skirts and dark chrome strips. Set of 18-inch alloy wheels. This version also has a panoramic sunroof.

The interior of the Honda HR-V 2022 is completely redesigned, the control devices are more neatly arranged to help the driver easily manipulate and avoid distraction while driving.

All HR-V versions come with black leather seats, while the RS version adds contrasting red stitching. 8-way electric driver's seat, sports aluminum accelerator and brake pedals.

The black leather steering wheel also has red stitching. All 3 versions have gearshift paddles behind the steering wheel, electronic handbrake and automatic brake hold function.

Some other interesting features are the hands-free power tailgate with the rearview mirror opening and closing and automatically tilting down when selecting reverse. There is also a cargo crate below the boot deck. By the way, no spare wheel, just a tire repair kit.

One strange thing that caught my eye was the large panoramic glass roof. Divided into front and rear sections, the colors of the rear are clip-on detachable two-piece items with stowage pockets, the same way it has been on targa sports cars since the 90s. like Toyota MR2.

The rear windshield is greatly flattened, and that will be the biggest difference from the old car. It is cut more square, also less round. Sitting on the same platform as the latest City, it's slightly shorter (4,330 mm, RS is 4,385 mm) but 20 mm wider (1,790 mm) and lower (1,590 mm) than the old model - that's work. formula for sportier proportions.
