BMW launches high-performance electric SUV

According to information from BMW Blog, the iX M60 can reach a capacity of more than 600 horsepower and an operating range of about 480 km when fully charged, according to test standards of the US Environmental Protection Agency (EPA). The price of the BMW iX M60 is expected to be more expensive than $ 83,200, the starting price of the "brother" iX xDrive50 is on the market.

Besides the high-performance variant of the iX electric SUV, BMW also brings to CES the upcoming 2 new technologies that are worth waiting for. The first is the function of changing the car's exterior color with the push of a button, as confirmed by a BMW representative.

GM introduces electric pickups and self-driving cars

General Motors (GM) is about to launch its first electric pickup line, the Chevrolet Silverado EV at CES 2022. In the US, this will be a formidable opponent of the Ford F-150 Lightning, Tesla Cybertruck or Rivian R1T.

Chevrolet Silverado EV is GM's second pickup model after GMC Hummer EV. The duo is jointly developed on the basis of battery technology and Ultium powertrain of the American automobile corporation, for the ability to travel more than 640 km when fully charged.

VinFast's new electric car series

Following the success of VinFast VF e35 and VF e36 launched more than a month ago, the Vietnamese automaker recently announced a plan to introduce three new pure electric car models within the framework of CES 2022.

A set of three new models has been announced in the A, B and C class car segments with the expected names of VF e32, VF e33 and VF e34P. In which VF e32 and VF e33 are two completely new names, and VF e34P is likely to be the international version of the VinFast VF e34 model that is about to be delivered to Vietnamese customers next week.

No images or specifications of the VF e32, VF e33 and VF e34P have been revealed yet. It is known that VinFast's new electric car models are penned by two design firms Pininfarina and Torino Design. Along with that, VinFast brings advanced autonomous support features (ADAS) as well as intelligent virtual assistants similar to VinFast VF e35 and VF e36.

The continuous launch of electric car models in the US shows that VinFast is rapidly implementing its development plan in the United States. After putting into operation a new branch in California in mid-November and preparing to open a system of 60 stores in 2022. In addition, the Vietnamese automaker also confirmed that it will build a new manufacturing plant in the US.

Hyundai introduces smart car concept

M.Vision POP and M.Vision 2GO will be Hyundai's concept car duo appearing at CES 2022. Notably, the Korean automaker plans to launch these two concept models through the virtual universe (metaverse) to in line with current technology trends.

According to Hyundai, when visitors come to the showroom, the system will scan the image to create a virtual character, thereby experiencing two smart electric car models for the future. Specifications will be announced when the official show takes place early next year.

M.Vision POP and M.Vision 2GO feature 360-degree rotation in place, cornering and parallel parking thanks to a 90-degree rotatable wheel system. This allows the vehicle to move flexibly in narrow spaces or busy streets.

In addition, the two Hyundai concept models can "communicate" with pedestrians as well as other vehicles on the road through the LED system installed in the grille, allowing to display many images and symbols. on one's own.
