Hyundai introduces two-seater car, priced from $11,313

Casper Van is a light commercial vehicle variant of the Casper urban SUV. The car is the only smart version.

Hyundai has just introduced to customers in South Korea the Casper Van small car, Hyundai calls it the LCV light commercial version of the Casper model. Casper Van's design is similar to that of Yaris ECOVan or Citroen My Ami Cargo.

Compared to the 4-door version, this version has a storage volume of more than 639 liters, reaching 940 liters. The rear seats on the Casper Van were removed by Hyundai, the glass doors in this row also have metal bars installed inside.

Equipped inside the cockpit of Casper Van stops at the basic level, the car only has an entertainment head cluster that supports USB and Bluetooth connectivity, accompanied by a 2-speaker audio system. The most prominent feature in the interior of the car is the 4.2-inch electronic speed screen.

Hyundai also offers customers additional comfort options such as leather seats that integrate heating and cooling, which cost $500. There are also steering wheel heating ($275), metal roof prices ($458), sports front bumpers ($791) etc.

The Hyundai Casper Van includes two engine options: the naturally aspirated Smartstream G and the turbocharged Kappa II 1.0L. The naturally aspirated 1.0L engine produces 76 horsepower and a maximum torque of 95 Nm, while the 100 hp and 172 Nm turbocharged engines.

Despite being part of a small commercial vehicle group, Hyundai also equips Casper Van with a variety of driver assistance technologies such as automatic throttle, automatic emergency braking, lane keeping assistance and automatic headlights.
