Ford F-150 Lightning is capable of accelerating from 0-100km / h in 4.5 seconds, with a total capacity of up to 563 horsepower and 1,054 Nm of torque. Meanwhile, the standard version has a maximum capacity of 426 horsepower and 1,054 Nm of torque.


The standard version is capable of traveling with a maximum distance of 370 km. Customers can also choose to upgrade 2 sets of lithium-ion electric batteries with a maximum range of 480 km on a single charge. Ford says this is the largest power battery pack it has ever produced, but the specifications of this electric battery pack have not been announced.



Depending on the version, the F-150 Lightning is equipped with different AC charging systems. The standard version will be equipped with a single charger with a capacity of 11.3 kW, while the upgraded version will have a dual charger with a capacity of 19.2 kW. The system will also be optimized for fast charging compared to the previous SAE system.


Included with each battery pack are different home charging systems. The standard F-150 Lightning version will have an additional 48A home charger option, with the ability to charge from 15% to 100% in about 10 hours.


With the more advanced version, the car will support an 80A home charger with the ability to charge from 15% to 100% in 8 hours. If equipped with a public 150 kW DC charging system, the F-150 Lightning is capable of fast charging from 15% to 80% in 41 minutes.
