Maserati MC20 Cielo convertible supercar appeared

This is a convertible version of the Maserati MC20 sports car with many design and performance upgrades.

After 2 years since the launch of the coupé version, Maserati officially launched the MC20 Cielo. In Italian, "Cielo" means sky, referring to the car's ability to open the roof.

Specifically, the process of opening / closing the roof of MC20 Cielo lasts about 12 seconds, giving customers a free experience with open space.

With PDLC technology, the Webasto glass sunroof has the ability to change transparency at the touch of a button. This detail can withstand temperatures from -30 to 85 degrees Celsius.

Acquamarina paint color was also introduced exclusively by Maserati for the first time on MC20 Cielo. With 3 coats of paint, this is the finished product of the special projects department Maserati Fuoriserie.

The butterfly door opening mechanism still appears on the convertible version, which was first applied on the MC20 coupé version.

The front end of the car has not changed much compared to the coupé version. Optional carbon fiber upgrade package helps reduce vehicle weight by 30 kg.

The new design of 20-inch multi-spoke sports wheels also gives the MC20 Cielo a new life, combined with blue brake calipers.

Customers can upgrade the exterior with the option of a large titanium gray trident logo in the rear compartment.

The interior of MC20 Cielo still adheres to the minimalist language, including the taplo dashboard and the touch center screen, both of which are 10.25-inch in size.

Owners of the car can upgrade to the Ice Gray seat option, which is inspired by classic Maserati race cars.

The most obvious difference is the touchpad table added by the automaker for the convertible version. The driver can choose between 5 modes Wet, GT, Sport, Corsa and ESC Off.

Similar to other convertible variants, the MC20 Cielo's chassis must be reinforced to ensure safety requirements, increasing the vehicle weight by 65 kg.

MC20 Cielo still shares the same 3.0L Nettuno V6 engine block with MC20 Coupé, which has a capacity of 630 horsepower and 730 Nm of torque.

Mated to this engine is an 8-speed dual-clutch transmission. MC20 Cielo is capable of accelerating from 0 to 100 km / h in just 2.9 seconds, before reaching a maximum speed of more than 320 km / h.

The limited edition PrimaSerie Launch Edition will be produced in a quantity of 60 units, including upgrades such as Acquamarina paint color, gold MM20 wheels...

The official price of MC20 Cielo has not been announced yet. In the US, the Maserati MC20 Coupé currently starts at $216,995.
